Recognition Notes
The Marauder C is a 75-ton sniper, a 2827 field rebuild of the 2612 MAD-1R, running the same 43 km/h cruise and 65 km/h top speed on a 300 fusion engine. In place of the PPCs in each arm it carries a Large Pulse Laser, with the Medium Laser in each arm carried over, and the AC/5 in the right torso gives way to an Ultra AC/5. Standard armor replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous plating, the heat-sink count rises from 16 to 19 single, and the right torso no longer carries CASE. It remains a command 'Mech with a low, hard-to-target silhouette and hyper-extending arm actuators, assembled as a field refit at various sites rather than a single manufacturer's line.
