Recognition Notes
The Red Hunter-3146 is a 75-ton juggernaut, a field-refit rebuild of the 2612 MAD-1R that trades reach for a mixed Inner Sphere and Clan arsenal. In place of the PPCs it mounts a Snub-Nose PPC in each arm alongside an ER Medium Laser, both arms fitted with a PPC capacitor, and the Right Torso AC/5 gives way to an Ultra AC/10 behind Inner Sphere CASE II rather than plain CASE. An XL fusion engine and a supercharger in the center torso let it push to a sprint speed of 86 km/h with the supercharger engaged, well above its 43 km/h cruise, and 14 Inner Sphere double heat sinks replace the original's 16 single sinks. Inner Sphere ballistic-reinforced armor stands in for the MAD-1R's ferro-fibrous plating. It carries over the low, hard-to-target silhouette and hyper-extending arm actuators of the base machine, and as a field refit it is assembled at various sites rather than by a single manufacturer.
