Recognition notes
The MAD-3D rebuilds the Marauder as a brawler, where the MAD-1R fought as a sniper. In place of the AC/5 in the right torso it carries a Large Laser, while the pair of PPCs and pair of medium lasers in the arms carry over unchanged. Standard armor replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous plating, and the heat-sink count rises from 16 to 20 single sinks, though the right torso's CASE is gone. It retains the low, hard-to-target silhouette and hyper-extending arm actuators of the line, along with its standing as a command 'Mech. General Motors builds it at Kathil, with Independence Weaponry producing it as well.
