Artwork

The unit illustrations on this site are official BattleTech artwork. They are © The Topps Company, Inc. BattleTech, MechWarrior, and ’Mech are registered trademarks of The Topps Company, Inc. Catalyst Game Labs publishes BattleTech under license.

Blake's Recognition Guide is an unofficial, non-commercial fan reference. The art appears here for one purpose: helping players recognize and identify units. It is rendered as part of each page in the site's own ink treatment, not offered as downloadable assets, and every image carries a visible credit to the rights holders. Casual in-browser saving (drag, right-click, long-press) is deliberately disabled as part of that same posture.

Artwork was sourced via the Master Unit List, the official BattleTech unit database.

Faction insignia and era emblems are derived from the MegaMek project's artwork, © The MegaMek Team, used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0; the insignia they depict belong to the rights holders above. A takedown request disables the color faction crests within minutes via a site setting; the monochrome recognition marks ship with the site itself and are removed by the next deploy.

If you are a rights holder and want any of this artwork changed or removed, email blakejpuryear@gmail.com and it will be handled promptly. The site can disable all unit artwork within minutes of a request.
