Recognition notes
The MAD-3M reworks the 75-ton Marauder as a close-in brawler, where the 2612-vintage MAD-1R fought at long range as a sniper. In place of the twin PPCs, each arm now carries a Large Laser alongside its Medium Laser, and the AC/5 remains in the right torso. The heat-sink count rises from 16 to 20 single sinks, while standard armor replaces the MAD-1R's ferro-fibrous plating and the right torso no longer carries CASE. Cruising and top speeds hold at 43 and 65 km/h, and the design keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette and hyper-extending arm actuators as a command 'Mech. Ronin Incorporated builds the MAD-3M at its Wallis works.
