Recognition notes
The COM-7Y is a 3022 field refit of the Commando that turns the 2463 scout into a 25-ton striker fighting close-in. Where the COM-1A carried a single Large Laser in the right arm, this configuration strips it out in favor of a Medium Laser in each arm and a third in the right torso, backed by an SRM 6 in the center torso. Standard armor replaces the base model's primitive plating, and the cruising speed climbs from 54 to 65 km/h, with a top speed of 97 km/h. The type keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette, and is assembled piecemeal as a field refit rather than at a dedicated factory.
