Recognition notes
The Commando COM-1B is a 25-ton striker, a 3015 rework of the 2463 COM-1A scout. Where the original carried only a Large Laser in the right arm, this variant adds a Medium Laser in the left arm and an SRM 2 in the center torso, and swaps the primitive plating for standard armor. The same 150 fusion engine now pushes cruising speed from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97 km/h, quick for its weight. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the earlier model, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
