Recognition Notes
The COM-7W is a 25-ton striker, a 3056 rebuild of the 2463 COM-1A scout that fought at range with a single large laser. Where the COM-1A carried that large laser in the right arm, this configuration mounts a pair of medium lasers in the left arm, a Streak SRM 2 in the right arm, and an SRM 4 in the center torso, pushing the fight in close. An endo steel structure and standard armor replace the original's standard structure and primitive plating, and cruising speed climbs from 54 to 65 km/h, with top speed rising from 86 to 97. CASE now lines the right torso, and the low, hard-to-target silhouette carries over from the COM-1A. It is largely a field refit produced at various sites, with Coventry Metal Works also building it.
