Recognition notes
The COM-3A rebuilds the Commando as a close-in striker, where the COM-1A of 2463 fought as a scout at long range. In place of the single Large Laser in the right arm, this configuration carries a Medium Laser in the left arm and a Right Arm loadout of SRM 6 and Flamer, with a second SRM 6 in the center torso. The 150 fusion engine carries over, but cruising speed rises from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97, and standard armor replaces the base model's primitive plating. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the original, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
