Commando COM-7B

The COM-7B is a 25-ton striker that rebuilds the 2463-era COM-1A scout around close-in brawling rather than reconnaissance. Where the COM-1A carried a single Large Laser in the right arm, this variant swaps in an ER Medium Laser and a pair of Flamers, all in the left arm, and adds twin SRM 4 racks in the center torso. A lighter 150 light fusion engine and endo steel structure lift cruising speed from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97 km/h, and a jump jet system now carries it 120 metres. Double heat sinks replace the COM-1A's single sinks, and CASE lines the right torso. The type keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the original, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry.
