Recognition Notes
The Atlas C 3 is a 100-ton assault refit that trades the AS7-D's close-in juggernaut loadout for long-range sniping. Where the original mounted an AC/20, LRM 20, SRM 6, and a battery of medium lasers, this field refit strips all of that out in favor of an ER large laser in each arm, a Gauss rifle in the right torso, and an Arrow IV system in the center torso. The heat-sink fit shifts from 20 single sinks to 17 double sinks, and Clan-pattern components replace the Inner Sphere original's throughout. Cruising and top speed hold at 32 and 54 km/h, and the machine keeps its command role, reinforced battle fists on both arms, and enhanced communications gear. As a field refit it carries no single manufacturer, being assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
