Recognition notes
The AS7-S4 rebuilds the Atlas around long-range fighting, where the AS7-D of 2755 was built as a close-in juggernaut. In place of the paired medium lasers, LRM 20, SRM 6, and AC/20, this configuration carries an ER PPC in each arm, a Gauss rifle in the right torso, and a pair of Medium X-Pulse Lasers in the left torso. Stealth armor replaces the base model's standard plating, and a Guardian ECM suite sits alongside CASE II in the torsos. It remains a command 'Mech with reinforced battle fists on both arms and enhanced communications gear, built by Defiance Industries at Hesperus II.
