Recognition Notes
The AS7-RS is a 100-ton juggernaut, rebuilt from the 2755 AS7-D in 2892 while keeping the same 300 fusion engine, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the AS7-D carried a pair of medium lasers in the arms, this variant mounts a Large Laser in each arm, and the AC/20 in the right torso gives way to an AC/10. The left torso now pairs an LRM 15 with an SRM 4 in place of the AS7-D's LRM 20 and SRM 6, and the rear-facing medium lasers in the center torso are gone entirely. It remains a command 'Mech with reinforced battle fists on both arms and enhanced communications gear, built by Independence Weaponry at Quentin alongside field refit shops elsewhere.
