Atlas AS7-S3-DC

The AS7-S3-DC is a 100-ton field refit that turns the Atlas into a long-range sniper, where the AS7-D of 2755 fought as a close-in juggernaut. In place of the twin medium lasers it mounts a PPC in each arm, and the left arm also carries an Anti-Missile System. The AC/20 in the right torso gives way to a Gauss rifle, and the LRM 20 and SRM 6 of the left torso are replaced by a single LRM 15 fitted with an Artemis IV fire-control system; the rear-facing medium lasers are gone. CASE now lines both torsos, and the engine becomes a 300 light fusion unit paired with 14 double heat sinks in place of the original's 20 single sinks, with cruising and top speed unchanged at 32 and 54 km/h. It keeps its identity as a command 'Mech with reinforced battle fists on both arms and enhanced communications gear, and like other field refits of the type it is assembled at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
