Recognition Notes
The WVR-9M rebuilds the Wolverine around sustained mid-range firepower, where the 2471-era WVR-1R fought with a single autocannon. In place of the AC/5 it carries a Heavy PPC in the right arm, and a Streak SRM 6 with CASE fills the left torso, positions the original left bare. The head-mounted Medium Laser gives way to an ER Medium Laser in the same location. A lighter 275 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, jump range extends from 120 to 150 metres, and standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the WVR-1R while the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 15 double. The type carries command-level electronics with enhanced communications gear and keeps the jettisonable arm weapon of the earlier model. Kallon Weapon Industries builds it at Thermopolis, alongside various dropship refit facilities.
