Recognition Notes
The WVR-7M is a 55-ton skirmisher, a 3050 rebuild of the 2471-era WVR-1R. Where the original mounted a single AC/5 in the right arm, this variant carries a pair of ER Large Lasers there, and the head-mounted Medium Laser gives way to a Medium Pulse Laser. It adds an SRM 6 in the left torso and a second Medium Pulse Laser in the right torso, weapons the WVR-1R never carried. A 275 XL fusion engine replaces the 265 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, with MASC in the right torso pushing it to a sprint speed of 108 km/h when engaged; its jump range grows from 120 to 150 metres. Standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the WVR-1R, and 12 double heat sinks stand in for the earlier 10 single units. This is a command 'Mech, fitted with enhanced communications gear and a jettisonable arm weapon, built by Gibson Federated BattleMechs at its Gibson works.
