Recognition notes
The WVR-6R is a 55-ton skirmisher, a later-dated rebuild of the 2471 WVR-1R with a heavier 275 fusion engine that lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, with jump range stretching from 120 to 150 metres. Standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the original, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 12 single sinks. It carries the same AC/5 in the right arm and Medium Laser in the head as the WVR-1R, but adds an SRM 6 in the left torso. This variant serves as a command 'Mech and carries enhanced communications gear, while the jettisonable arm weapon carries over from the WVR-1R. Diplass BattleMechs builds it among several other manufacturers.
