Recognition Notes
The WVR-8K rebuilds the Wolverine as a command 'Mech, a role the 3064 refit adds atop the 2471 original's baseline skirmisher work. In place of the AC/5 the right arm now carries an ER PPC alongside an ER Medium Laser, and the head-mounted Medium Laser is swapped for a Medium Pulse Laser. A Streak SRM 6 fills the left torso, backed by CASE. The lighter 275 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, while jump range extends from 120 to 150 metres. Standard armor replaces the original's primitive plating, and fifteen double heat sinks stand in place of the ten single sinks of the WVR-1R. The jettisonable arm weapon carries over from the base design, and this variant adds enhanced communications gear. Victory Industries, formerly Norse BattleMech Works, builds it at Marduk.
