Recognition Notes
The Rifleman C is a 60-ton sniper design, a decade-spanning rebuild of the 2504 RFL-1N brawler that adds ten tons to the original chassis while keeping its 240 fusion engine and the same 43 km/h cruising speed, topping out near 65. In place of the base model's Large Laser and Medium Laser pairing, each arm now carries a Large Pulse Laser and an LB 5-X AC, drawing on mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology mounted on the Inner Sphere frame. Standard armor plating replaces the primitive protection of the original. The type keeps its anti-aircraft fire control and fixed searchlight, and is built by Auxilliary Production Site #5 at Babylon on Callandra, among other sites.
