Rifleman RFL-X3 MUSE WIND

The Rifleman RFL-X3 MUSE WIND is a 60-ton sniper that fights at long range, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out at 65 - a ten-ton rebuild of the 50-ton RFL-1N brawler from 2504. In place of the Large Laser and Medium Laser in each arm, it mounts a HAG/20 and a Medium Pulse Laser in each arm. An Inner Sphere XL fusion engine replaces the standard powerplant at the same 240 rating, and Clan ferro-fibrous armor replaces the primitive plating of the original. Inner Sphere CASE now lines both torsos, and the design adds a jump capability of 120 metres where the RFL-1N had none. Heat sinks fall from 12 single to 10 Inner Sphere double, and the type keeps its anti-aircraft fire control and fixed searchlight. GM Test Line 09 performs the refit at El Dorado.
