Recognition Notes
The Rifleman C 2 is a 60-ton skirmisher, a field-refit rebuild of the 2504 Rifleman that adds ten tons to the RFL-1N's original 50-ton frame. Where the RFL-1N mounts a Large Laser and Medium Laser in each arm, this version fields an ER Large Laser and an Improved Heavy Medium Laser in both the left and right arm. A 360 XXL fusion engine raises cruising speed from 43 to 65 km/h and top speed from 65 to 97 km/h, and jump jets give it a 270-metre jump range the original lacked. Endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor stand in for the RFL-1N's standard structure and primitive armor, and 12 double heat sinks replace the 12 single. It carries anti-aircraft fire control and a fixed searchlight, and is turned out as a field refit at various facilities rather than by a single manufacturer.
