Recognition Notes
The RFL-7X is a 60-ton skirmisher fighting at stand-off range, a 3081 rebuild of the 2504 RFL-1N brawler. Where the original carried a Large Laser and a Medium Laser in each arm, the 7X mounts a Snub-Nose PPC and a Light PPC in each arm. A 360 XL fusion engine replaces the RFL-1N's 240 fusion plant, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 65 km/h and top speed from 65 to 97 km/h, and the design gains a jump capability of 180 metres the original lacked. Endo steel structure and light ferro-fibrous armor replace the RFL-1N's standard structure and primitive armor, 12 double heat sinks replace its 12 single sinks, and the anti-aircraft fire control, fixed searchlight, and enhanced communications gear carry over unchanged; the type is fielded as a field refit alongside factory production by Kallon Weapon Industries at Nanking.
