Archer ARC-9W

The Archer ARC-9W is a 70-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 3078 rebuild of the 2458 ARC-1A original. Where the ARC-1A carried a medium laser in each arm, the ARC-9W mounts an ER Large Laser in each arm, and its LRM 20 launchers give way to Artemis IV-linked LRM 15 racks in the left and right torsos. A 350 XL fusion engine replaces the 255 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 54 km/h and top speed from 54 to 86 km/h. Endo steel structure and standard armor plating replace the ARC-1A's standard structure and primitive armor, and the heat sink count rises from 10 single to 12 double. An Angel ECM suite sits in the right arm, CASE lines both torsos, and a void-signature system runs through nearly every part of the frame. It carries over the command 'Mech role, reinforced battle fists on both arms, and a stable firing platform. Earthwerks Incorporated builds it at Terra.
