Recognition Notes
The ARC-9KC is a 70-ton sniper that trades the ARC-1A's short-range missile-boat armament for stand-off firepower, a 3089 rebuild of the 2458 original. In place of the twin Medium Lasers it carries a Light PPC in each arm, and where the ARC-1A mounts an LRM 20 in each torso this variant fields two MML 5 racks in each side torso, backed by an ER Medium Laser in the head. An endo steel structure and a 280 fusion engine replace the base model's standard structure and 255 engine, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65. Standard armor replaces the ARC-1A's primitive plating, the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 13 double, and a boosted C3 slave unit sits in the center torso. It remains a command 'Mech with reinforced battle fists on both arms and a stable firing platform, built by LexaTech Industries at its Hun Ho works.
