Recognition Notes
The ARC-4M is a 70-ton missile boat, a 3049 rebuild of the 2458 original that keeps the twin LRM 20 racks in the side torsos and the medium lasers in each arm, but adds a pair of rear-facing medium lasers in the center torso for close cover. A heavier 280 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, and endo steel internal structure replaces the standard structure of the ARC-1A. Artemis IV fire-control systems and CASE now sit in both the left and right torso alongside the LRM racks, and double heat sinks replace the original's single sinks. The type remains a command 'Mech with reinforced battle fists on both arms, built as a stable firing platform, and Earthwerks-FWL, Inc. produces it at Calloway VI.
