Recognition Notes
The ARC-2Rb is a 70-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 2752 rebuild of the 2458 original. A 280 fusion engine and endo steel internal structure lift cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, while standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the ARC-1A. The twin LRM 20 racks in the side torsos now carry Artemis IV fire-control systems, and CASE lines both torsos alongside them. A rear-facing medium laser in the center torso joins the medium lasers already in each arm, and the type retains its reinforced battle fists and its standing as a stable firing platform for command use. Earthwerks Incorporated builds it at Terra, with field refit shops turning out others elsewhere.
