Recognition Notes
The ARC-9M is a 70-ton missile boat fighting at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, with a jump capability of 150 metres the 3076 rebuild carries that the 2458 original lacked. In place of the ARC-1A's twin Medium Lasers, this variant mounts a Light PPC in each arm, and its LRM 15 racks in the left and right torso replace the original's LRM 20s, each fitted with an Artemis IV fire-control system and backed by an ER Medium Laser in the same torso. CASE lines both the left and right torso, and a lighter 210 light fusion engine replaces the ARC-1A's 255 fusion engine while double heat sinks and light ferro-fibrous armor stand in for the original's single heat sinks and primitive armor. The design keeps its reinforced battle fists on both arms and its stable firing platform, and is built by Earthwerks-FWL, Inc., with production also carried out at other sites.
