Recognition notes
The TDR-9SE is a 65-ton heavy that fights as a skirmisher, a role shift from the missile-boat orientation of the 2491 TDR-1C. Where the original mounted twin machine guns and a Large Laser in the arms alongside an LRM 15 and SRM 2 in the right torso, this variant carries a Large Pulse Laser in the right arm and an LRM 10 in the left torso, backed by three medium lasers also in the left torso. CASE now protects that left-torso ammunition, and a 260 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, with a 120-meter jump capability the TDR-1C lacked. Standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the original, and the frame is noted as rugged and field-serviceable. Earthwerks Ltd. builds it at Tikonov.
