Recognition notes
The Thunderbolt TDR-12R is a 65-ton heavy built for close-in juggernaut work, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. A 3127 rework of the 2491-era TDR-1C, it swaps the Large Laser in the right arm for a Plasma Rifle and trades the left arm's Machine Gun for a Medium Laser. The right torso's Thunderbolt 5 stands in for the old LRM 15 and SRM 2 pairing there, while the left torso now carries an LRM 15 alongside a Small VSP Laser in place of the single Medium Laser. Heat sinks rise from 10 single to 12 Inner Sphere double units, and Inner Sphere laser-reflective armor replaces the primitive plating of the original. The frame keeps a rugged, field-serviceable build, produced by Earthwerks Ltd. at Tikonov.
