The Thunderbolt TDR-11S is a 65-ton juggernaut, a 3074 rebuild of the 2491 TDR-1C missile boat. Where the TDR-1C carried a Large Laser in the right arm, this variant mounts an ER PPC, and the three medium lasers in the left torso become ER medium lasers alongside a new SRM 6 in place of the old LRM 15. The right torso trades the SRM 2 for a pair of machine guns and an Anti-Missile System, joining CASE installations in both torsos that the original lacked. A heavier 260 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, while ferro-fibrous armor replaces the primitive plating of the TDR-1C and the heat-sink fit rises to 15 double sinks from 10 single. The left arm's twin machine guns carry over from the base design, and the chassis keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame. Trellshire Heavy Industries builds it at Adelaide.
