The GRF-6R reworks the Griffin as a 55-ton sniper, five tons lighter than the 2465 GRF-1A original and built on a 275 XL fusion engine with endo-composite structure in place of the earlier standard engine and frame. Where the GRF-1A carried a Primitive Prototype PPC in the right arm and an LRM 5 in the right torso, the GRF-6R swaps in a Rotary AC/2 in the right arm and a Thunderbolt 10 in the right torso, and adds an ER Small Laser in the left torso. Cruising speed climbs from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86, while jump range extends from 90 to 150 metres, and stealth armor replaces the primitive plating of the original. CASE II now protects both the right arm and left torso, and a Guardian ECM suite sits in the right torso; the design carries reinforced battle fists on both arms, a jettisonable arm weapon, and a rugged, field-serviceable frame. Brigadier Corporation builds it at Oliver.
