Griffin GRF-3M

The Griffin GRF-3M is a 55-ton sniper that fights at long range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86 km/h, with a jump range of 150 metres. Where the 2465-era GRF-1A carried a Primitive Prototype PPC and a light LRM 5 on a 290 fusion engine, this rebuild fields an ER PPC in the right arm and an LRM 20 in the right torso, drawing power from a 275 XL fusion engine and adding a Small Laser in the left torso, where CASE is also fitted. Standard armor replaces the original's primitive plating, and the heat-sink count rises from 11 single to 13 double. Both arms carry reinforced battle fists, one of them a jettisonable arm weapon, on what remains a rugged, field-serviceable frame. Earthwerks Incorporated builds the type at its Keystone plant, with production also carried out by Brigadier Corporation.
