Griffin GRF-1N

The GRF-1N is a 55-ton sniper, a lighter rework of the 60-ton GRF-1A introduced decades earlier in 2465. It trades the Primitive Prototype PPC for a standard PPC in the right arm and doubles the right torso's missile rack from an LRM 5 to an LRM 10. Standard armor replaces the primitive plating of the original, and a 275 fusion engine, though smaller than the GRF-1A's 290, still lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h; a jump jet system now carries it 150 metres against the earlier 90. Heat sinks rise from 11 to 12, and the design keeps reinforced battle fists on both arms in a rugged, field-serviceable frame. Earthwerks Incorporated builds it at Keystone, with production also underway at other sites.
