Valkyrie VLK-QD5

The Valkyrie VLK-QD5 is a 30-ton missile boat, a 3101 rework of the 2787 VLK-QA that keeps the same 150 engine speed of 54 km/h cruising and 86 km/h topping out, now on an Inner Sphere XL fusion engine, with a 150-metre jump. In place of the single LRM 10 in the left torso, it fields an MML 7 and an ATM 3 in the same location, and the Medium Laser in the right arm gives way to a Medium Pulse Laser. Inner Sphere CASE has been added in the right torso, and light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original. Heat sinks drop from 11 single to 10 Inner Sphere double units. It carries over the enhanced communications gear and easily-serviced design of the VLK-QA. Corean Enterprises builds it at Stewart.
