Valkyrie VLK-QD2

The VLK-QD2 is a 30-ton light that fights at long range, a 3072 rebuild of the 2787 VLK-QA that trades the missile boat's LRM 10 for a pair of Light AC/2 autocannons, both in the left torso. The Medium Laser in the right arm is replaced by an ER Medium Laser, and a targeting computer sits alongside the autocannons in the left torso. Endo steel structure and a 150 XL fusion engine replace the original's standard structure and standard fusion engine, and 10 double heat sinks stand in place of the 11 single sinks, while cruising and top speed hold at 54 and 86 km/h. The design still carries enhanced communications gear and remains known as an easily-serviced machine. Corean Enterprises builds it at New Avalon.
