Valkyrie VLK-QD1

The Valkyrie VLK-QD1 is a 30-ton missile boat, a 3067 rework of the 2787 VLK-QA that fights at long range while cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. In place of the Medium Laser it carries an ER Medium Laser in the right arm, and the LRM 15 in the left torso replaces the original LRM 10, with an Artemis IV fire-control system sharing that torso and a targeting computer fitted in the center torso. An XL fusion engine and endo steel structure replace the base model's standard engine and structure, and the heat-sink count drops from 11 single to 10 double. The design carries the same enhanced communications gear and easily-serviced construction as the VLK-QA, and is built by Corean Enterprises, with Vicore Industries producing it as well.
