Valkyrie VLK-QD4

The VLK-QD4 is a 30-ton striker, a 3085 rebuild of the 2787 VLK-QA missile boat. In place of the Medium Laser it carries an ER Medium Laser in the right arm, and the LRM 10 in the left torso gives way to an MML 7 in the right torso, backed there by CASE. A 150 XL fusion engine replaces the base model's standard 150 fusion engine at the same cruising speed of 54 km/h and top speed of 86, while light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating and jump range extends from 150 to 210 metres. Heat sinks drop from 11 single to 10 double. Both variants carry the same enhanced communications gear and an easily-serviced design, and Corean Enterprises builds this configuration at New Avalon and at its Stewart plant.
