Recognition Notes
The BNC-9S is a 95-ton assault reworked as a juggernaut, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, the same pace as the 2445-era BNC-1E it descends from. Where that original carried an AC/5 and a Primitive Prototype PPC, this rebuild fields a Heavy PPC and a Light PPC together in the left arm, a Gauss Rifle and a Medium Laser in the left torso, an SRM 6 in the right torso, an ER Medium Laser in the right arm, and another ER Medium Laser in the head. A lighter 285 light fusion engine and 14 double heat sinks replace the BNC-1E's 345 fusion engine and 16 single heat sinks, and standard armor takes the place of the primitive plating. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable build, consistent with a design turned out through field refit rather than a single dedicated plant.
