Recognition Notes
The BNC-3Mr is a 95-ton assault that fights at long range, a 3073 field rebuild of the 2445 BNC-1E original. Where the BNC-1E carried an AC/5 and a Primitive Prototype PPC in the torsos with twin Medium Lasers in the center torso, this rebuild fields an ER PPC and an ER Medium Laser in each of the left and right torsos, leaving the Small Laser in the head. A larger 380 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, and double heat sinks replace the single heat sinks of the original. Standard armor covers the frame, which keeps its rugged, field-serviceable build; it is assembled through field refit at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
