Recognition Notes
The BNC-3M is a 95-ton assault, a 2579 field refit of the 2445 BNC-1E that trades the earlier sniper's stand-off gunnery for close brawling work. Where the BNC-1E carried an AC/5 and a Primitive Prototype PPC, this variant mounts a PPC and a medium laser in each torso, with the small laser still in the head. A 380 fusion engine replaces the original 345, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, and standard armor plating replaces the base model's primitive plating. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable construction, and the type is turned out by various shops as a field refit rather than a single dedicated line.
