Recognition Notes
The BNC-3MC is a 95-ton assault, a 3037 field refit of the 2445 BNC-1E original. Where the BNC-1E carried an AC/5 in the left torso, this variant mounts an AC/10 in the same location, and the Primitive Prototype PPC in the right torso gives way to a standard PPC. The pair of medium lasers in the center torso is gone, leaving the small laser in the head as the only other weapon. A 380 fusion engine replaces the 345 unit, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, and standard armor plating replaces the original's primitive protection. Heat sink count falls from 16 to 11 single sinks. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable construction, and this model is produced as a Field Refit at various sites rather than by the original manufacturer.
