Recognition Notes
The BNC-3E is a 95-ton assault that fights at long range, a 2475 rework of the 2445 BNC-1E carrying a heavier 380 fusion engine in place of the original's 345, raising cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65. The Primitive Prototype PPC in the right torso gives way to a standard PPC, and the pair of Medium Lasers in the center torso is gone, leaving the AC/5 in the left torso and the Small Laser in the head as the BNC-1E's holdovers. Standard armor replaces the earlier primitive plating. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable build, and Diplass BattleMechs produces the type, with Hesperus II and New Earth among the additional factories building it.
