Banshee BNC-12S

The BNC-12S is a 95-ton assault built as a brawler, a 3138 rebuild of the 2445 BNC-1E original that moves from a sniper's fighting doctrine to close-in slugging. Where the BNC-1E carried a single AC/5 and a Primitive Prototype PPC, this variant fields an ER PPC in the left arm and a second ER PPC in the right torso alongside a Gauss Rifle in the left torso, an SRM 6, and four ER Medium Lasers mounts all packed into the right torso. An ER Small Laser sits in the Center Torso and another in the Head, in place of the single Medium Laser pair and lone Small Laser of the original. A 380 Clan XL fusion engine replaces the 345 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, while Inner Sphere endo steel structure and Inner Sphere CASE in the left torso back up the standard armor. It keeps the rugged, field-serviceable frame of the BNC-1E. Defiance Manufacturing Annex builds it at Kwangjong-ni.
