Trebuchet TBT-7M

The Trebuchet TBT-7M is a 50-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 3048 rework of the 2780 original. A 250 XL fusion engine replaces the TBT-3C's 300 XL, cutting cruising speed from 65 to 54 km/h and top speed from 97 to 86; a jump jet system now carries it 150 metres, a capability the original lacked. Where the TBT-3C mounted a medium laser in the center torso, the TBT-7M drops it for a Narc launcher in the left torso, and it removes the Artemis IV fire-control systems the earlier model carried in the left arm and right torso. The LRM 15 in the left arm, the paired medium lasers in the right arm, and the LRM 15 in the right torso carry over, with CASE lining both side torsos. The chassis is noted as an easily-serviced design. Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds the type at Irian, with production also carried out at other sites.
