Recognition Notes

The Trebuchet TBT-5N is a 50-ton missile boat, a 2799 rebuild of the 2780 TBT-3C built for simpler upkeep rather than raw performance. Standard internal structure replaces the original's endo steel, and a 250 fusion engine substitutes for the 300 XL fusion, cutting cruising speed from 65 km/h to 54 km/h and top speed from 97 km/h to 86 km/h. Ten single heat sinks stand in for the TBT-3C's ten double heat sinks. The TBT-5N drops the center torso medium laser of the original, keeping an LRM 15 in the left arm and one in the right torso, with a medium laser in each arm. The easily-serviced design carries over from the TBT-3C, and Irian BattleMechs Unlimited builds the type at its Irian factory.
