Trebuchet TBT-8B

The Trebuchet TBT-8B is a 50-ton missile boat, a 3071 refit of the 2780 TBT-3C. Where the original mounts a single LRM 15 in the left arm and another in the right torso with Artemis IV fire control, the 8B replaces each with a pair of MML 5 launchers, dropping the Artemis system and the center torso medium laser entirely. The right arm's twin medium lasers give way to four ER medium lasers in the same location. CASE, mounted in both torsos on the TBT-3C, remains only in the left torso, and the heat sink count rises from 10 double to 13 double. A jump jet arrangement now carries the machine 150 meters per jump, a capability the TBT-3C lacked, while cruising and top speed hold at 65 and 97 km/h. It stays an easily-serviced design, and Kali Yama Weapons Industries Inc. builds it at Kalidasa.
