Trebuchet TBT-9K

The TBT-9K is a 50-ton striker rebuild of the 2780 TBT-3C, trading the earlier missile boat's long-range LRM 15 racks for a pair of MRM 20 launchers in the left arm and right torso, weapons that pull the design into stand-off and closer fighting. The left arm keeps a Medium Laser but loses the Artemis IV fire-control fit, while the right arm swaps its twin medium lasers for a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers. A lighter 250 XL fusion engine replaces the 300 XL unit, dropping cruising speed from 65 to 54 km/h and top speed from 97 to 86 km/h, and the type adds jump jets giving it a 150-metre jump range the TBT-3C lacked. A C3 slave unit joins CASE in the left torso, and it remains an easily-serviced design; it is a field refit built at various sites rather than a factory-line product.
