Trebuchet TBT-9N

The TBT-9N is a 50-ton missile boat, a 3136 rebuild of the 2780-vintage TBT-3C that keeps the same 300 Inner Sphere XL fusion engine and its 65 km/h cruising speed, topping out near 97. Where the TBT-3C carries three plain medium lasers across the arms and a fourth in the center torso, the 9N mounts Medium VSP Lasers instead, with two in the right arm and one in the left, and drops the center torso laser entirely; the twin LRM 15 racks in the left arm and right torso carry over. The Artemis IV fire-control systems and the twin CASE installations of the TBT-3C give way to a single Inner Sphere CASE II in the left torso. Inner Sphere light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the original, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 to 11 Inner Sphere double sinks. The design remains an easily-serviced machine, built by Tvastar Enterprises at Regulus.
