Trebuchet TBT-K7R

The TBT-K7R is a 3088 refit of the 50-ton Trebuchet, reworking the 2780 TBT-3C from a long-range missile boat into a close-in skirmisher. Where the TBT-3C carried a pair of LRM 15 racks and four medium lasers, this refit fields an ER medium laser and a BattleMech taser in the left arm, twin ER flamers in the left torso, and a Streak SRM 6 alongside a second ER medium laser in the right torso. The lighter 250 light fusion engine trades the TBT-3C's 65 km/h cruise for 54 km/h, topping out near 86 and pushing to 76 under combat heat, and triple-strength myomer and a 150-metre jump jet give it mobility the original lacked. CASE still lines the left torso, and a chain whip mounted in the right arm doubles as the design's jettisonable arm weapon; Kali Yama Weapons Industries Inc. performs the refit at Kalidasa.
