Trebuchet TBT-5J

The Trebuchet TBT-5J is a 50-ton skirmisher, a 2850 rework of the 2780 TBT-3C missile boat. Where the TBT-3C ran a 300 XL fusion engine on an endo steel frame, the TBT-5J drops to a 250 fusion engine over a standard internal structure, and cruising speed falls from 65 to 54 km/h with top speed down from 97 to 86. Heat sinks grow in count from 10 to 15 but shift from double to single. The loadout thins as well: a medium laser stays in each arm and an LRM 15 remains in the right torso, but the left arm's LRM 15 and the center torso medium laser are gone. The design is still built for easy field maintenance, and Corean Enterprises - MacAdams-Suharno produces it at Stewart.
